Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon Offers Informative Talk on Scoliosis
Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health will hold a virtual presentation on the Signs, Symptoms and Treatment Options for Pediatric Scoliosis from Noon to 12:45 p.m., Monday, June 21.
Pediatric and adolescent scoliosis is a condition in which a child's spine abnormally curves sideways or rotates. As cases can range from mild to severe, treatment options may range from routine check-ups to braces or surgery.
T.R. Lewis, M.D., a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Oklahoma Children's Hospital, will provide information, including the latest treatments and therapies for pediatric and adolescent scoliosis.
