Scientific evidence proves that many chronic illnesses, including diabetes, can be controlled while reducing medications and moving toward a more plant-based diet. It is one of the most powerful steps toward improving your health, boosting your energy and preventing chronic illnesses.
Join Brent Beasley, M.D., OU Physicians-Tulsa, for our next Health Matters community event “Plant-Based Power Meals for You and Your Family,” on World Diabetes Day, November 14. Refreshments will be served at 5:30, followed by the presentation at 6 p.m., at Mother Road Market, 1124 S. Lewis, Tulsa.
Beasley will present the facts in a fun, informative talk, immediately followed by a walk through Mother Road Market to discuss how to make healthy choices at the different vendor booths. Free A1C screening is available and each participant will receive a small gift.
The event is open to all and offered at no cost to participants. Space is limited so reserve your place by contacting Karen at (918) 660-3098.
