Pediatric Specialists to Discuss Concussion Diagnosis and Treatment in a Virtual Presentation

OKLAHOMA CITY—Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health pediatric specialists will present “What to Know about Concussions for Coaches, Sports Trainers and Parents,” Thursday, July 14, via zoom.

Ashley McAllister, M.D., sports medicine pediatrician and Brittany Poinson, M.D., pediatric sports neurologist will share important information about prevention, treatment as well as return to play issues. This virtual doc talk will be geared to parents, sports trainers and coaches, including parents who coach their children’s teams and those who coach professionally.
The presentation will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., July 14, and is offered at no cost to participants.
