OU Health Announces Chief Operations Officer

OKLAHOMA CITY -- OU Health, Oklahoma’s only integrated, comprehensive academic health system, has named Jonathan W. Curtright, MBA, MHA, chief operations officer.

Curtright comes to Oklahoma from MU Health Care, the University of Missouri’s academic health system, where he has served as CEO since 2017. His executive experience in healthcare spans more than 25 years and includes leadership roles at Indiana University Health, UK Healthcare and Mayo Clinic. He will be onsite in Oklahoma City in August.

Curtright joins OU Health as a member of the executive team and will have operational and business oversight of OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center, Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health, OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center and OU Health Edmond Medical Center.

Curtright has worked in accelerated leadership roles over the course of his career. He has extensive leadership experience across the entire continuum of care, including outpatient, inpatient, procedural, imaging, regional and outreach practice, support services, post-acute care, research and education. While at MU Health Care, he strategically grew the health system, transformed clinical performance, planned and launched the development of a new children’s hospital, deepened employee engagement and cemented an Alliance for Precision Health with Siemens Healthineers.

Curtright earned master’s degrees in both business and healthcare administration and an undergraduate degree in business from the University of Missouri.

Curtright and his wife, Lori, will relocate to Oklahoma City. They have four adult children.
