- Outline proper scanning methods to improve prenatal detection of heart defects.
- Recognize abnormal anatomy to improve referral for prenatal heart defects.

The Fetal Echo Conference is a half-day fetal cardiology workshop presented by two faculty members with expertise in fetal echocardiography. It will be divided into two parts. Part 1 will be didactic lectures focusing on various congenital heart diseases and scanning methods. Part 2 will be a live workshop showing various scanning modalities. The purpose of this educational activity is to increase awareness of congenital heart defects and close common clinical gaps in proper scanning methods to detect prenatal heart disease and when to refer to a pediatric cardiologist.
